What you will see
The printer posts a 459.82 or 459.83 paper jam error message.
Recommended solution
A stack of multi-feed or shingle feed paper can stop in the punch unit because the HPU (hole punch unit) cannot punch through several sheets of paper simultaneously. This could lead to paper jam with error codes 459.82 or 459.83.
NOTE: The HPU can punch through a maximum of 24lbs of paper.
The printer has no settings that can be adjusted to avoid this occurrence. To reduce the possibility of unwanted multi-feeding, use media that is dry and fresh out of a ream. Make sure also to flex, fan, or flip the paper stack before loading it into the paper tray.
