The printer intermittently displays a 172.06 Service Fan error during operation or while in the idle state.
Make sure that printer is NOT plugged in to any device that may distribute power, such as power strip or extension wire.
Update the printer’s Base and Engine firmware using the combination P454 and E613 or P543 and E709, or download the latest printer firmware found in the Lexmark Support Site. Refer to Checking the latest Lexmark printer firmware for the steps.
