The page appears very faint or washed out.
If the defect appeared after replacing the maintenance kit or the printer received service, poor electrical contact to a component could be causing the defect.
Reset the printer to ensure that all the settings are appropriate. To do this, turn the printer off, wait ten seconds, power the printer back on and reprint to see if the defect persists.
Should the issue persist, remove the cartridge and imaging unit from the printer.
Inspect the small contacts found inside the printer and on the right-hand side below where the imaging unit would reside. Look for signs of damage to one of these contacts.
