Toner Leaking or Spilling in the Tray on a Lexmark CS310, CS410, CS510, CX310, CX410, and CX510

Dark purple toner drips or spills inside the printer's paper tray. See sample picture below.

Troubleshooting

  1. If toner is leaking at the photoconductor drum, please see this Toner Leaks or Rings at Photoconductor Drums on a Lexmark CS310, CS410, CS510, CX310, CX410, and CX510 for continued troubleshooting.

  2. If dark purple toner(waste toner) is leaking into your paper tray, a service call may be required. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions.
