Affected Products:

Single function: CS720, CS725, CS820, & C6160

Issue Description:

Accessibility Mode options (Voice Guidance and Magnification) are by default disabled and have to be enabled for each user session. These options are turned back off at the end of the user session -- via log off or session time out.

How to turn off accessibility options

Should Voice Guidance be accidentally activated, it can easily be turned off by terminating the user session, usually accomplished by pressing the "Home" key on the op panel a few times.

Voice Guidance can only be activated from:

  • The Accessibility Mode menu (press and hold the "5" key on the op panel keypad or attached USB keyboard) - or -

  • By plugging in a headset into the headphone jack.
