How to print booklets using windows PS3 driver

This article describes the step-by-step procedure in printing booklets on a Lexmark C950 printer or X950, X952, X954 MFPs using Windows PS3 driver.

Booklet printing

On your document, click File > Print. Then enter the printer Properties.

The Printing Preferences window opens. On the Layout tab, select Booklet.

Once Booklet is selected, select the Paper/Finishing tab.

Next, select the paper sizeof the booklet.

Then select the Finishing options (the example shows Fold & Center Staple). Click the Apply button, then OK.

Additional Information

Make sure the application's (e.g., MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) Paper Size is smaller than the actual booklet paper size selected in the print driver. For example, if you want to create a booklet using 11x17 paper that will include eight pages (i.e., two folded duplexed pages), then the page size you select in the application should be letter size or "next step" smaller than 11x17 while the print driver paper size should be 11x17. The driver will automatically create the booklet using the smaller application-defined paper size. Failure to setup the paper size correctly in the application can result in a booklet with missing print or page information split on two different booklet panels.

Also, do not create the booklet in an application ahead of time; example: adding a “Book fold” in MS Word. Use only the Lexmark Print driver to create booklet.
