9 | Select one of four authentication types. These options allow for the application to authenticate the user with the share: Guest - No security Use MFP's authentication credentials.. The application uses the MFP's authentication credentials to gain access to the share. Prompt for username and password. The application displays a runtime prompt when the destination shortcut is selected. Entry of the correct username and password will then be required for access to the share. Use static username and password. Administrator knows the username and password to the share and wants all users to have access to the destination.
