Folders and subfolders are not accessible from the Scan to Network app

What you will see

When using the Lexmark Scan to Network app, the following error appears on the printer‘s control panel when you try to navigate the shared folders and subfolders that have been set up in the application.

NOTE: For more information about the application, refer to Creating a destination shortcut for the Scan to Network solution software for the steps on how to configure the Scan to Network application.


Accessing the shared folders that were set up through Scan to Network application can be done by following these steps:




Press Scan to Network icon from the printers’ control panel.


Select the 'Destination' folder name.


Under the destination folder option " Save In", select " Change" to navigate to the subfolders.

NOTE: The error appears when navigating between the folders and subfolders.

  • X46x
  • X65x
  • X73x
  • X86x

NOTE: An x denotes any number within a given printer model series.

Suggested Remedy

Updating the Scan to Network application to the version can fix the issue. You may download it from this link SNF version
