The printer produces text or graphics that are faint or light.
When printing from a computer, check program and printing properties. Gray text and graphics may appear darker on a monitor than on the printer.
Check Toner Darkness settings on the printer. Darkness setting 8 is the default setting. Darkness setting 10 is the maximum. Lower settings may result in Faint Print.
Extreme humid or dry environments may prevent toner from adhering to paper. Try printing in a controlled environment on fresh, dry media.
Check the cartridge toner level. Replace the cartridge if the toner is low.
Try printing with a different cartridge. Replace the cartridge if necessary.
