Activation of Print Recovery (Auto Continue) feature as method for suppressing attendance and intervention requested messages

What you will see

The printer or MFP stops printing when an intervention request or attendance message is displayed on the LCD.

Suggested Remedy

Activation of the Print Recovery/Auto Continue feature. This default setting is disabled.This feature can be turned on via operator panel or embedded web server.

Operator panel:

1. Press Menu.



2. Press Settings.



3. Press General Settings.



4. Press the down-arrow ~four times until you see Print Recovery.



5. Press the corresponding button next to Print Recovery.



6. Next to Auto Continue, press the right or left-arrow buttons to adjust the time*.



7. Press Submit. Click here for illustration.

* The amount of time (five-255 sec.) the attendance message is displayed before being suppressed and allowing for the print job's completion. Print results may vary depending on attendance message. NOTE: Other MFP and printer models carry this feature. The general path for most printers: Menu > Settings > General Settings > Print Recovery > Auto Continue.

1. Enter the TCP/IP address of the MFP/printer into the URL field; e.g., http://MFP_IP_ADDRESS.



2. Click on Settings(Configuration) .



3. Click on General Settings.



4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Print Recovery.



5. Adjust the time.



6. Click Submit.
