This issue was first seen on an T654; however, this behavior can be observed on any printer with similar firmware architecture.
Explanation
Due to dated firmware architecture, complexity, and the date overlay rotation was implemented, this feature was not worked into this generation of products. As an option, all MX and CX series printers and MFPs do support this feature.
