Overview
This ReadMe file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK LEGAL PARTNER solution for multifunction printers (MFPs).
Lexmark Legal Partner is a set of embedded Java applications that are installed as flash files on multifunction printers (MFPs) that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF).
Requirements
Legal Partner consists of four eSF applications:
- Background and Idle Screen 3.0.5.1002
- Enables a timed idle screen to appear and a custom background to be featured on the MFP touch screen.
- Scan to Case Manager 3.3.1.1002
- Enables users to scan documents to a network, with network destinations chosen by the administrator.
- Scan to Court 2.0.5.1002
- Enables users to scan documents related to court proceedings into an MFP and then e-mail the documents to court offices.
- Legal Forms 2.0.6.1002
- Enables users to print bookmarks. A bookmark references a URL (an address for a Web page or an item on an FTP server).
A multifunction printer that supports eSF v2.0 applications.

Device memory requirements: A minimum of 256 MB RAM.
In order to enable some features, the MFP must have a hard drive installed.
This application requires an electronic license. To obtain a license, go to www.lexmark.com and click the "Contact Lexmark" link at the bottom of the screen.
