
Try printing on recommended media that is dry and fresh out of a ream.

Check the cartridge toner level. Replace the cartridge if the toner is low.

Dark marks often clear without intervention. Try printing more pages to see if the marks disappear.

Look for contamination on visible parts of the cartridge and printer. Fibers or paper fragments touching the PC Drum wipe toner from the image.

Look for damage to visible parts of the cartridge and printer. Damaged cartridges may leak toner onto paper and into the printer.

Try printing with a different cartridge. Replace the cartridge if necessary.

If you are printing with a Label Application cartridge, confirm the fuser wiper is clean and installed correctly.
