One-third (1/3) of the print is light and the rest is black.
Check for any obstruction in the paper path and clear the obstruction if one exists.
Remove the print cartridge, then lower the door halfway to verify the charge roll assembly is properly installed.
Reinstall the print cartridge and make sure that it is seated properly.
If defect persists, contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
