This article details the recommended Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) configuration for MarkVision Enterprise (MVE) version 2.1.

Disregard the SSL configuration found on page 6 of the MarkVision Enterprise Security White Paper.

Change the values to:

<Connector port="8443" protocol="HTTP/1.1" SSLEnabled="true" maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false" sslProtocols = "TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2" />


Note: Lexmark recommends using Transport Layer Security (TLS) over SSL when accessing MVE to avoid vulnerabilities. An updated MVE Security White Paper will be released soon.
