File format available for Fax Forward function on MFPs (March 2011)

Issue description

The fax received from a fax forward appears as a PDF file. This is true even if you set up your shortcut to send an image as a JPEG or in another format.

Regardless of format selected, previous generations of MFPs allowed only one file format for this function.

X46xe, X65xe, X73xe, X86xe, X792, X92x Series MFPs

  • PDF
  • TIFF (Requires an installed Hard Drive formatted for fax storage.)

Note:  Anxdenotes any model in a given product series.
