Suggested remedy

  1. Edit the .esc file to include an additional colon after the word flash.

  2. Resend the file to the printer, for example, LPR -S 192.168.1.13 -P print <Filename>.

JAR files that contain certain label text characters may get refused because of differing firmware architecture between product generations.
