The side and rear paper guides on the tray should be resting lightly against the edges of the paper, and not putting pressure on the paper. If the issue continues, try the following suggestions below. |
| 4 | Ensure that the printer/MFP is set to the desired paper size and type (e.g., Transparency media). Is the printer/MFP set to desired paper size and type? Yes: Continue to Step 5.No: Change the printer/MFP to desired paper size and type and attempt to print a test page. |
| 5 | Try printing a test page, if the page prints, the printer is functioning correctly. If the issue continues, try flipping the media over in the paper tray and printing a test page. Did the issue return? Yes: Continue to Step 6.No: Try printing again. If the document prints correctly, the issue may have been an isolated incident. However, observe the printer closely over the next two weeks to see if the issue returns.
Note: Flipping the media over in the paper tray can sometimes lessen this problem.
