What you will see
The card reader does not detect your badge when you swipe it while the printer is in sleep mode. You may need to restart the printer to make it work.
NOTE: ‘Sleep Mode’ is the printer's energy-saving state. It saves energy by lowering the printer’s power consumption during extended periods of inactivity.
This issue applies to the following Lexmark models with PKI Authentication app version 4.1.1 or below installed.
NOTE: An x denotes any number within a given printer model series.
Update the PKI auth app to certified release version 4.1.12 or higher.
