Printer operator panel freezes when printer goes to a sleep mode.

Products affected

This issue was first seen on BSD-equivalent models of the Lexmark X792 and X954 running PKI Authentication 4.1.1.2; however, this issue may be witnessed on other models with similar firmware architecture.

Fix

PKI Authentication v4.1.1.3, or greater, is known to address this issue. Contact Lexmark Technical Support andreference this article ID# SO8014 when you request this firmware.

Explanation

PKI Auth was requesting the UI to launch a profile before it was ready to process profiles after waking from sleep. In PKI Auth version 4.1.1.3 and higher, the app will ensure that UI was ready before requesting transactions.
