An RTF File Output Is Always Saved in Black and White Even when Color Is Selected

What you will see

When you perform Scan to Email or Scan to FTP, then select Rich Text Format (RTF) file type and Color, the output is always saved in Black and White. This happens when the printer has Accuread OCR* app installed.

The presence of the app can be verified by going to the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) > Settings > AppsApps Management or Device SolutionsSolutions (eSF).

Explanation

The OCR engine does not convert color text and background to color-enriched RTF files. It performs basic gray scaling only.
