900.28 Error when pushing an LDD Home Screen policy

Issue description

A blue screen accompanies a 900.28 error when attempting to deploy a policy from LDD that adds 7 or more icons to the Welcome (Home) Screen.

Affected products

• Lexmark X950, X952 and X954 MFPs with a firmware level below LHS42.TQ.P496; for example, LHS41.TQ. P490.
• Lexmark Document Distributor (LDD) version 4.8.5
• Home screen customization

Solution

A PE - released version of firmware LHS42.TQ.P496, or later, is available that addresses the issues described above.
