Issue description
Printing from the Lexmark X95x MFP with IPDS DLE card installed registers a 900.40 error code. This occurs when printing from an AS/400 environment via a printer command language ( PCL) driver. Windows print jobs, however, print properly.
Explanation
It has been determined by the development team that the Multipurpose Feeder ( MPF) size on the Lexmark X950 is set to SRA3.
In this case, the Lexmark X950 code P449/553 currently does not support SRA3 and 12x18 paper sizes. If any of the trays are set to these sizes and receive any IPDS jobs, they will register the error code.
Solution
To resolve this issue, make sure to update the IPDS FW to the latest version.
NOTE:
If the IPDS FW is not updated, then it is recommended to avoid setting any of the trays to the unsupported paper sizes ( SRA3 and 12x18).
