Thermal Damage: Narrow light or dark bands extending from the left to the right of the page, repeating at a frequency of 33mm-36mm (1.3-1.4").

Troubleshooting
  1. Defects similar to the samples shown above, repeating at a frequency of 33-36mm (1.3-1.4"), are usually due to defective toner cartridges, and not TBMs, fusers, or other printer hardware.

  2. This particular defect can be the result of Thermal Damage, exposure of the toner cartridge to high temperatures in shipping or storage.

  3. If the defect persists after replacing the toner cartridge, contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance.
