Power off the printer/MFP and reseat all four toner cartridges and photoconductors.

Power on the printer/MFP again and print a test page.Did the print defect return?

Yes: Continue to Step 3.No: The issue is resolved. (The problem was an improperly seated supply.)

Click hereand print off the pages that load from the pdf file. The last five pages are solid-color pages (with the fifth page being a blank). Does the print defect appear on all five of these pages?

Yes: Continue to Step 4.No: Con tinue to Step 5.

All four of the Photoconductors will need to be replaced. If they have more then 10% left on the supply settings page, you will need to continue to Contacting Lexmark in order to get a replacement set of photoconductors sent out to you. However, if they are at the end of their service life, you will need to order a replacement set for yourself.

Determine which photoconductor(s) will need to be replaced based on the number of pages, and therefore colors, that the test in Step 2 indicates are affected. If they have more then 10% left on the supply settings page, you will need to continue to Contacting Lexmark in order to get a replacement set of photoconductors sent out to you.
