Defect Symptom

Treeing/Milky or Paper Wrinkled (not folds) is a defect that occurs when very light media or paper has been exposed to high humidity; "trees" (i.e., paper wrinkles) may be present on the printed page in such circumstances.

Troubleshooting

  1. Verify that paper is loaded into the paper tray correctly with side and rear guides adjusted to the appropriate setting.

  2. Replace the media with media from a new ream.

  3. If problem persists, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions.
