Repeating defects every 1.39 inches (35.5mm) on the printer page

Issue description

Repeating marks on the page that are spaced 1.39 Inches (35.5mm) apart is an issue likely caused by a damaged or defective Toner Cartridge(s).

Power off the printer/MFP and reseat all four toner cartridges and photoconductors.

Power on the printer/MFP again and print a test page.Did the print defect return?

  • Yes: Continue to Step 3.
  • No: The issue is resolved. (The problem was an improperly seated supply.)

Click hereand print off the pages that load from the pdf file. The last five pages are solid-color pages (with the fifth page being a blank).

For any of the pages that exhibited the defect the corresponding toner cartridge will need to be replaced. If they have more then 10% lef t on the supply settings page, you will need to contact the next level of support in order to get a replacement toner cartridge(s) sent out to you. However, if they are at the end of their service life, you will need to order the replacement toner cartridges for yourself.
