What you will see
When you restore or add a database saved from a lower MarkVision Enterprise (MVE) version to a newer version, you may encounter errors; i.e., missing data or start-up problems.

Release Notes of the MarkVision Enterprise Page.
Databases used with previous versions of MVE may be incompatible with newer versions due to code changes. In addition, the structure of the tables and schemas may have changed and may cause conflicts.
When upgrading to the latest MVE version:
- Make sure to back up your current database in case you need to go back to that version.
NOTE: See MVE User’s Guide for more information.
- Run the new version's executable to upgrade the environment accordingly.
NOTE: Make sure to perform a sequential upgrade (e.g., 1.9.x to 1.10.x to 2.0.x to 2.1.x).
