When the Fax Forward app is set to forward faxes to e-mail, incoming faxes are printed instead of forwarded to the specified e-mail.
NOTE: This setting can be found on the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) > Settings > Fax Settings > Analog Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings. Click here to view image.
Recommended solution
Update the printer’s firmware to PE release code P567 or higher.

Fix information
An issue involving JBIG*-compressed faxes, which causes a hang in the system during fax job decompression, was fixed.
NOTE: The new firmware code will not fix issues related to other fax compression methods; i.e., Modified Read (MR), Modified Modified Read (MMR), or Modified Huffman (MH).
