Overview
This article outlines the proper procedure for cleaning the touch screen display on an X4600 series scanner. Following these instructions will reduce the risk of damaging the display panel.
Procedure
Step | Action |
1 | Power off the scanner unit. |
2 | Moisten a clean lint-free cloth or paper towel with an ammonia-free, d eionized glass cleaner. CAUTION! Do not spray the cleaner or any liquids directly onto the touch screen display. |
3 | Carefully wipe the surface of the display panel by moving the cloth or paper towel from side to side. |
4 | Allow a few seconds for the surface of the display panel to dry. |
5 | Power the scanner unit back on. |
