Recommended troubleshooting

  1. Clear the paper path of any media, staples, or obstructions.

  2. Try printing on recommended media that is dry and fresh out of a ream.

  3. Check the toner cartridge for proper installation.

  4. If defect persists, contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
