The Downtime Assistant app will not show reports (or files) under the configured source report folder, in both web application and in the printer control panel.
NOTE: This issue occurs when there is a 3rd party idle screen application running.
Solution
Updating the Downtime Assistant app to the latest version 5.2.8 will fix the issue.
Explanation
Downtime Assistant only handles internal idle screen applications. If there is a running idle screen, the application should continue to download the reports from the configured source report folders. But since 3rd party apps were not supported, the issue is encountered. The latest version Downtime Assistant v5.2.8 now handles both internal and 3rd party idle screen applications. This version also contains a hidden ucf setting to set smbclient version. The values allowed are 2 and 3 int values only. The default is 2 which is for likewise smbclient. The application will revert the value to its default if the user has set an invalid value.
NOTE: The latest version Downtime Assistant v5.2.8 also contains support for printing of secured pdf files. If the user selects multiple secured pdf files and enters an incorrect password, the user may experience a hang issue. Make sure to input the correct password to avoid the hang issue.
