Overview
This article details the steps required to update the license of Pharos Blueprint version 5.1 or earlier.
Procedure
A new database model is being implemented on all Pharos Blueprint apps versions. To implement it on Pharos Blueprint version 5.1 or earlier, perform the following steps:
NOTE: The Pharos Blueprint version 5.2 or later already uses this new database model. Should you need to update the license, proceed with Step 8.

1 | Log in to the Blueprint Analyst server. | No Image |
2 | Copy BP_5.1orEarlierDeviceModelUpdater.rename_to_exe file to a temporary folder or location on the Blueprint Analyst server. | |
3 | Rename BP_5.1orEarlierDeviceModelUpdater.rename_to_exe to BP_5.1orEarlierDeviceModelUpdater.exe. | |
4 | Double-click on BP_5.1orEarlierDeviceModelUpdater.exe, and then click Start. | |
5 | The status message changes from Waiting to start to Running. | |
6 | When the update is complete, the status changes to Finished. | |
7 | New license(s) and an update log file are extracted in the folder. Note: The license(s) may vary.

8 | Click OK to close both updater windows. | |
9 | Open the Blueprint Administrator, and then click on the Update License button. | |
10 | Attach the log file modelupdate@pharos.com.csv to an email, enter the Customer Name in the Subject field, and then send it to modelupdate@pharos.com. Note: This provides information on the license update results and may help in product improvement.
