ENUS25753Purpose This article explains how to clean the rollers to help deal with misfeeds, multifeeds, and paper jams when feeding paper into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
What You Will Need • A lint-free cloth• IPA (rubbing alcohol)
Cleaning the ADF| Step | Action | Illustration |
| 1 | Open the ADF document cover. | |
| 2 | Locate the two rollers for the pickup assembly. | |
| 3 | Clean these rollers with the rubbing alcohol and lint-free cloth. | |
| 4 | Locate the reverse roller. | |
| 5 | Clean the reverse roller with the rubbing alcohol and lint-free cloth. | |
| 6 | Attempt the copy job again. | |
