Lightweight Media Causing a Paper Jam in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

When you try to use the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), the paper will either wrinkle, not feed at all, or feed very crookedly.

Resolution

Make sure you are using media within the Document Feeder Specifications (see below).

Make sure the ADF is loaded correctly ( How to Load Paper into the Automatic Document Feeder of the X64X MFP for instructions).

Document Feeder Specifications

Scan Media Size: from 114.0 x 139.4 mm (4.5 x 5.5 in.) to 215.9 x 355.6 mm (8.5 x 14 in.)

Maximum: 50 sheets
