200 and 201 paper jam

Explanation of the error message

The 200 and 201 Paper Jam messages indicate that a piece of paper has been detected in the MFP's paper path and needs to be removed.

CAUTION -HOT SURFACE!To reduce the risk of injury from a hot component, allow the surface to cool before touching it.

NOTE: The print media may be covered with unfused toner which can stain garments and skin. Be careful when removing the paper jam from the printer.

Push the release latch and lower the multipurpose feeder, then push the release latch and open the top front cover.

Lift and pull the print cartridge out of the MFP.WARNING! Do not touch the photoconductor drum on the underside of the cartridge. Use the cartridge handle whenever you are holding the cartridge.

Place the print cartridge aside, as shown.IMPORTANT:Do not leave the cartridge exposed to light for extended periods of time.

Pull the print media up and out of the MFP.

CAUTION: Do not use any pointed objects to remove the paper. This could cause personal injury or damage to the MFP.

Align and reinstall the toner cartridge.

Close the top front cover. Close the multipurpose feeder.

Touch Continue.
