Print a menu settings page to obtain current device code level.

If below .P367, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further diagnosis and a possible firmware update may address this issue.
For Lexmark X85x MFP Series

Power off the MFP and wait for ten seconds before powering it back on.

Print a menu settings page to obtain current device code level (P478 or the latest).

If the firmware is at the latest level, contact Lexmark Technical Support for further diagnosis and a possible remedy.

For X4600 Scanner-equipped models
- Power off the MFP and wait for ten seconds before powering it back on.
- If the error remains after restarting the MFP, download and update the firmware using the links below:
- For T644 printer + 4600 scanner = P324
- For C782 printer + 4600 scanner = P333
- If the error persists, contact Lexmark Technical Support for further diagnosis and a possible remedy.

Explanation
The scanner continues to save images after a 240, 241, or 24x paper jam intervention request (IR) message. Because the printer cannot process print jobs in this IR state, the device generates the error witnessed to above.
