Is the parallel or serial interface card listed in the Installed Features list?

Remove, and then install the parallel or serial interface card.

The problem is solved.

Check the connection between the cable and the parallel or serial interface card.
Contact customer support.
Does your printer have wireless connectivity issues? Check if the Internal Solutions Port is properly installed.
Does your scanner fail to scan or copy documents? Try checking the power cord connection.
