Clean the scanner glass and the ADF glass with a damp, soft, lint‑free cloth.
Make sure that the document or photo is loaded facedown on the upper left corner of the scanner glass.
Copy the document or photo.
Is the copy quality satisfactory?
The problem is solved.
Go to step 2.
Check the quality of the original document or photo.
Adjust the scan quality settings.
Contact customer support.
If your printed pages are streaky, crooked, faded, have lines on them that shouldn't be there, or are otherwise poor in quality, try these solutions.
Are you seeing blurred text or unclear image in your fax messages? Try enhancing print quality, replacing a toner cartridge, or simply decreasing transmission speed.
