Turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Using the screwdriver stored inside door A, remove the controller board access cover.
Warning—Potential Damage:
Controller board electronic components are easily damaged by static electricity. Touch a metal surface on the printer before touching any controller board components or connectors.
Remove the controller board shield.
Open the port access door.
Remove the option slot cover.
Note: Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw. Lift the cover, and then pull it out completely.
Unpack the wireless print server, and then pass it through the option slot.
Attach the thumbscrews.
Connect the wireless print server to the controller board.
Reattach the shield, and then reattach the access cover.
Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet, and then turn on the printer.
CAUTION—POTENTIAL INJURY: To avoid the risk of fire or electrical shock, connect the power cord to an appropriately rated and properly grounded electrical outlet that is near the product and easily accessible.
