Check the printer connectivity.
Print the Network Setup Page. From the home screen, touch Settings > Reports > Network > Network Setup Page.
Check the network status.
Is the printer connected to the network?
Go to step 3.

Make sure that the printer is connected to a network and that the network is connected to the Internet.
Can you set up etherFAX?
