Vertical dark streaks on output when scanning from the ADF

Step 1

1. Open the scanner cover.



2. Using a damp, soft, lint‑free cloth, wipe the ADF glass pad (A) and ADF glass (B).

   


3. Close the scanner cover.

Do vertical streaks appear on scanned documents?

Go to step 2.

The problem is solved.

1. Open the scanner cover.



2. Using a damp, soft, lint‑free cloth, wipe the ADF glass (A) and ADF glass pad (B) in door E.

   


3. Close the scanner cover.
