Option for Searchable PDF Fails to Display when Using Email + Profile on the 2016 Released Printers with Enabled OCR

Overview

The issue happens on a Scan to Email icon set up on the home screen with an Email + Profile action and using the EmailTrack profile in LDD from the printer installed with OCR license, as shown in this image:

When a user goes to the printer's control panel > taps the Email icon > presses the Send As button > selects PDF, and then chooses the PDF options, " Searchable" is not available in the list.


NOTE:
Users are able to select Searchable PDF when scanning in standard Scan to Email, or with other built-in scan methods on the printer.

Recommended solution

Update the Advanced Prompting embedded solution to fix the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for assistance in updating this embedded solution to a newer version.
