Lexmark Print Management: Not All Print Jobs Are Printed and "LDSS System is busy" Error Appears

Lexmark Print Management (LPM)

Issue Description:

When the user releases print jobs, some pages are missing, or some parts of a page are not printed, and the MFP displays a "LDSS System is Busy" error message.

Additional identifiers:

  • If the user tries to release multiple print jobs or all print jobs, some jobs are not printed, but the PrintRelease task is completed.

  • When the user checks the print job:

    • The job shows up or shows up on reprints.

    • User gets multiple copies of the print job.

    • LPM logs the user out.

Solution:

  1. Clear any running jobs stuck in the server.

  2. Restart the server.

  3. For LDD 5.x (versions earlier than 5.1.3), provide updated print.jar file from LDD 5.1.3 release.
