Issue description
The transfer roller and belt module are lifetime units with no prescribed maintenance cycle and are replaced only for breakage. These modules can withstand catastrophic mechanical failure and can last more than 1,000,000 pages.
As the transfer roller and belt module accumulate pages, the transfer components electrically fatigue, increasing in electrical resistance. With the transfer module having a longer functional life, the system needs to compensate for the change in resistance to ensure acceptable print quality.
Usually, the compensation is done automatically using onboard sensors and algorithms, but under certain conditions, further adjustment might be required. Without this adjustment, the resulting print may be mottled, or show non-uniform light print as seen in the following images.
