Some discrepancies with exported and web view reports in the Lexmark Cloud Analytics

Issue Description:

When a user with access to the Analytics Web Portal in the Lexmark Cloud system, generates a report and exports it as a .csv file, some of the columns that contain " raw data" that is in English, are not translated.

However, when viewing the same report inside the Lexmark Cloud Analytics application, the data is translated which causes some confusion.

Recommendation and explanation

Using the Analytics web portal in the Lexmark Cloud system, perform the following steps:

  • Generate the "Printer Activity Detail" report.

  • Click the Export to CSV button which is above

    the "Print Activity" data grid.

  • Compare the exported .csv file to the report shown on the browser screen.

The contents of the following columns are in English, no matter what

language had been selected when logging in.

  • "Job Type"

  • "Release By Application"

  • "Color"

  • "Duplex"

  • "Printed State"

However, for the other columns, there some differences that are observed.

  • For the "Color" and "Duplex" columns, TRUEand FALSEare exported, where the browser-based report shows Yesand No.

  • For the "Printed State" column, printDelete and printHoldare exported, where the browser-based report shows translated Print and Print and Keep.


NOTE:

In a future release, these shortcomings will be addressed by providing better, translated strings for these exported columns.
