NOTES:
- The toner is not melted and fused to the paper, thus causing it to smear.
- Adjusting the printer media settings can usually correct this problem.

Determine the kind of media that you are using and make sure that it matches the printer media type and weight/texture settings.

Verify the fuser unit is installed properly. Replace the fuser if needed.
