Additional troubleshooting
Reset the engine service error.
To do this, enter the Diagnostics menu (3 + 6), navigate to PRINTER SETUP and selectReset Engine Service Error.
If error persists, then:
- Open the drawer (tray).
- Remove all paper from the tray.
- Follow the paper loading instructions seen in Loading the 2500‑sheet tray.
- Repeat Step 1.
If error still persists, then follow additional troubleshooting suggestions found in the Service Manual for the 2500-sheet tray "transfer guide motor failure".
Escalate this issue to your next level of support if this intervention required (IR) message cannot be resolved.
