Overview
The jconsole.exe from the Java SDK can be used to access the LDD server on port 4113 (load balancer) or 4111 (tomcat server) without authentication. When asked to authenticate, the user can click on "unsecure connection" and it will connect. The server is not asking for any authentication before allowing the connection.
Solution
Updating the LDD version to v5.0.00.07.50 will fix the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance to obtain the specific LDD version.
Explanation
The JMX ports are used by diagnostic tools such as LDD's System Health page. As such, System Health may stop working after LDD is updated with the secured JMX ports.
