Card Copy Application Produces a Two-Page Copy when Original Size Is Set to Mixed Sizes

What you will see

A larger than expected scanned card image requires two pages to print the entire image.

Suggested Fix

Change the default Original Size to your standard paper size, such as Letter, Legal, A4 or other.

NOTE:
If you need to scan mixed sizes during a copy job, change the input from one of the standard sizes noted above to Mixed Sizes during individual copy instances. Perform this change from the user interface.

Two methods are available to change this setting.

Embedded Web Server Method

  1. Open your browser and enter the MFP's IP address into the URL field. For example, http://

    MFP_IP_Address

    , where

    MFP_IP_Address

is the address of your "Card Copy" equipped MFP.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click on Copy Settings.

  4. Locate the Original Size setting.

  5. If this setting displays Mixed Sizes, change this setting to a standard size, such as, Letter, Legal, A4 or other commonly used sizes.

  6. Click Submit.

  7. Attempt the Card Copy function again.
